Which hitch brand is the best?

Hey all, I need a quick advice on the best and most dependable hitch brand out there? And what drop do you usually use for your trailers? Thanks

For a hitch brand, Curt is definitely a solid choice! I gave a 6" drop a shot with what I had, but honestly, it just didn’t cut it. I’m thinking I’ll need at least an 8" drop, maybe even a bit more!

Instead of running a hitch, I picked up a hitch-mounted bumper step. I have had this save several bumpers from people rolling into me at stoplights or in parking lots because they weren't paying attention. Check this out:
