When I first got my new hybrid, the tire pressure was set at a low 41 psi, causing noticeable road noise, which I'd rate as a solid 6.5 out of 10. After inflating the tires to the correct pressure of 44 psi, the noise level dropped dramatically to a much quieter 3.7.
