Good mornin'!
Is there any way to make my Hummer turn off and lock itself when I park it? I know you can do that with other EVs, like Tesla X.

I’m not a fan of that feature on my Rivian either. I like being the one in control, not the car! And seriously, why do Tesla and Rivian have "Pet mode"? Seems like they shut off when you least expect it, like they’re trying to make sure your car's more chill than you are

I get that some folks dig the convenience, but honestly, I’d rather not trust the car to lock itself. I’d totally freak if I left something in there and had to sprint back to grab it!

It’s probably hiding somewhere in your settings. But honestly, I'd give it a few test runs before putting all your faith in it. You don’t want your Hummer just hanging out unlocked because it decided not to cooperate.

It's called passive locking and when you walk away with the key fob on your person it locks the vehicle automatically, it can also be set to send an audible chirp so you know the locking even has taken place, without having to turn around.
