I need tips on removing the front GMC badge

I want to know if the front GMC badge is only taped on or if there are indents or placement holes behind it, has anyone taken it off? Although it appears that the remaining body emblems can be removed without any problems, I don't want the grille to end up with holes. I'd love to know how it went and if you have any advice if you have done this before.

I took off the front and rear GMC emblems from mine. They were just taped on, a little heat and rubbing alcohol will do the job.

Heat it up with a hairdryer, then grab some fishing line and carefully peel it off.

This sounds like a clean way to do it. Did you have any trouble with leftover adhesive or was it easy to remove?

I just prefer a cleaner look without the front badge. I’m making a few small changes to personalize it, and I want to be sure there aren’t any holes before I remove it.
