Hello! My father just bought his car, but there is a problem when he drives it at more than 55mph: the cabin sound becomes too loud. We took the car to a service center and the dealer technician said that he couldn't find anything. Like, the sound is normal compared to other similar Hummer EVs. After that, we talked to the Hummer Concierge and we got a similar opinion. The dealer recognized the sound and he said the sound had to do with the design of the vehicle. Other cars have it, too. Now we face a wall. We don't know what to do next. Do you have any thoughts? Have you noticed that sound, too?

Yes, I have noticed that sound, too. I am interested in the topic. I was going to try some of the things you have tried. Now, that you wrote about the no-results, I won't do anything unless we get a real solution. Let's hope someone will add one here.

I can relate to your situation, when my spouse got her Hummer EV, we noticed a similar noise issue at highway speeds. After some back-and-forth with the dealer, we learned it was a common characteristic of the vehicle’s design. While it was frustrating at first, knowing it wasn't just us helped a bit. If it's too bothersome, maybe consider sound deadening materials as a possible solution.

When I had this issue, I ended up adding soundproofing mats under the carpets and on the doors. It didn't completely eliminate the noise, but at least there is a difference.
