Hey everyone!

I have been saving up for years, and I am finally ready to take the plunge and get my dream car - a Hummer EV! I have always loved the design and the power behind it, but as this is my first EV, I am a bit nervous about what I might be getting into with a used one. So, are there any common issues I should look out for, especially around things like battery health or software updates? What is the worst red flag before the purchase? Also, if anyone has experience with maintenance costs or any specific checks to ask for, I would really appreciate the insights!

Congrats on the Hummer EV...let me give you a few tips, check battery health and software updates, watch for red flags like accidents or poor maintenance, and consider a mechanic's inspection before buying.

What can I say, congratulations! Now, to answer to your question:
- make sure to check the battery SOH (a good percentage means a healthy battery);
- make sure it has the latest updates because Hummer EV relies heavily on software;
- look out for signs of battery degradation or unusual wear on electrical components (some EVs have had issues with cooling systems or charging ports);
- as red flags, accidents, or poor maintenance history;
- and last, if you know a trusted mechanic, ask him to inspect the vehicle.

Good luck with your purchase, and enjoy the ride! If you have more questions, feel free to ask.

That's solid, man! I appreciate it. Thanks!
