Good to know I’m not the only one noticing those hiccups. I’ll check with GM about road updatesI've only noticed the occasional disconnect too, but it usually reconnects quickly. I'm also a big fan of the hands-free driving, though I agree it can be a bit jerky at times. As for the road updates, I'm not entirely sure if OnStar handles automatic updates. It might be worth checking with a GM representative or digging into the vehicle's settings.
Sorry to hear it’s been frustrating for you...My experience has been better, but I agree it’s not perfect.Super Cruise? More like Super Fail. It totally ignores side streets and barely hangs on for 5 minutes on the freeway before it makes me take control.
Interesting observation...It’s surprising how road coverage can change. Glad to hear you’re enjoying it overall, fun definitely makes the quirks more tolerable at leastI've been using it everyday and its great fun, I have noticed that ONSTAR or whoever decided what roads are covered and when does drop and add roads more than I was aware of. I had SC on my Debut Edition Lyriq it was a little more reliable on that vehicle than on the Hummer.
But anyway, have you noticed any specific differences in how Super Cruise performs between the Lyriq and the Hummer, aside from the reliability you mentioned?I've been using it everyday and its great fun, I have noticed that ONSTAR or whoever decided what roads are covered and when does drop and add roads more than I was aware of. I had SC on my Debut Edition Lyriq it was a little more reliable on that vehicle than on the Hummer.
Super Cruise is great overall. It’s good to know you’ve had similar issues with lane changes. I’ll keep an eye on updates too.Lane changes are a little more abrupt in the Hummer and sometimes fail without much warning. I had the system checked to see if there were any updates available but I was on the latest software. All in all I would score SC a solid 9 out of 10 better than anything else out there.
