Charge now

Hello, guys!
So, I am not exactly a morning person, and the last thing I want to do is get out of bed just to mess with my car’s charging settings.
Does anyone know if there is a way to switch from Charge Later to Charge Now remotely, using the app?
It would be great to control it without having to go outside or dig through in-car menus. Please!

You’re in luck, you can start charging remotely using the myGMC app without touching the car. Just open the app, go to the charging section, and tap Start Charging. If it doesn’t show up, force close and reopen the app, or check if your charger has its own app that lets you manually start a session. No need to get out of bed for this one.

Have you tried unplugging and replugging the charger? Maybe it helps.

That's living the dream! most modern EV apps including those for Teslas, Fords and others absolutely let you switch between "Charge Later" and "Charge Now" remotely. It's usually a simple tap or toggle within the charging section of the app. Just make sure your car is connected to the network and your app is up to date and you should be good to go. No more freezing morning treks to the garage!

Just try to stop and restart the charge with the app, if you can. Also, try changing the departure time in the app, that sometimes gets it going.

Just hop into the Charge Management section in the app—it's right there!
