Choosing a Level 2 Charger for My Hummer EV

I’m getting ready to purchase a Level 2 charger for my home to use with my Hummer EV, and I’d love to get some recommendations. I’m planning to have it professionally installed, but I’m not sure which brand or model is best suited for the Hummer.

Are there any specific brands or models you’ve had great experiences with? What features should I be looking for when choosing a home charger, smart features, compatibility, charge speed, etc.? And for those of you who’ve gone through the installation process, do you have any tips to make it go smoothly?

You need a strong Level 2 charger to handle its big battery. ChargePoint, JuiceBox, and Wallbox are top brands with reliable and smart features. look for a charger with high amperage (48A+) for fast charging and look for Wi-Fi for app control and scheduling. Any J1772 charger works with the Hummer EV (with the included adapter) but ensure the cable is long enough. For installation get quotes from multiple electricians experienced in EV charging and have your electrical panel checked first. look into any local rebates for EV charger installs.
