Hi, everyone!
I was wondering if there is any difference between transparent and opaque roof panels. I am thinking about an upgrade, and I wanted to know if there is any difference in terms of road noise and temperature. Is it worth it? Thanks!

Transparent roof panels are pretty popular for the open feel they add, but they can also let in more heat on sunny days, which might make the AC work a bit harder. In terms of noise, opaque panels are usually slightly better at dampening sound, which could make a difference on rougher roads. If you love natural light and the extra brightness in the cabin, go with transparent. If not, opaque panels are a solid choice for keeping things a bit cooler and quieter. 👌

When you roll with those transparent panels, yeah, the cabin definitely gets a little toastier. But if you’re in a chiller climate, it’s not really a big deal. The thing that actually drives me nuts is the weirdly blue/cold light they throw over everything. Other than that, no change in road noise, fitment, or anything else.

That's why I had mine ceramic tinted. Man it's getting really hot during summer!

There are differences if we talk about temperature build-up and road noise. If you prioritize temperature control and minimal road noise, the opaque roof is the better choice.
