Hummer EV Test Drive Impressions

I recently got the chance to take the Hummer EV for a spin, and I’ve got to say, I was pretty impressed. For such a beast of a vehicle, it handles way better than I expected, and that rear-wheel steering? Total game-changer. That said, I did notice a couple of build quality issues, like a scuffed AC vent, which was a bit of a bummer. Still, I’m all in on the Rivian R1S, especially when it comes to the interior and that awesome native infotainment system. But the Hummer EV definitely holds its own. Anyone else had a go in the Hummer EV? What do you think?

I test-drove both Hummer EV and Rivian R1S, and they each bring something unique. The Hummer felt more rugged and aggressive, especially with its insane off-road mode, but the R1S interior and software felt more polished and user-friendly. If you’re into the tech side of things, I can see why you’d lean toward Rivian.

The Hummer is my 5th EV and I really like it, feels very rugged next to anything else out there for sure.
