So this weird thing happened, my car's temperature gauge just froze at 35 degrees while I was driving. And, of course, the AC decided to stop working at the same time. I was thinking about trying that thing where you disconnect the 12V battery to reset everything. The temp started climbing back up, and the AC started blowing cold air again when I got home eventually. I have no idea what that was all about. Any thoughts?

I have the opposite problem we hit -41C which is the same in F, it works well but when you park inside it can take 8 hours to warm up until it will read the correct temp again. I'm thinking it may be the same for hot temps as at sometime it will need to cool down. When your travelling over 35mph or 60kph the temp sensor updates much more frequently.
