2025 Hummer EV Battery Options

I’m about to pull the trigger on a Hummer EV this week but find myself a bit lost on the battery and range options between the 2025 3X SUV and SUT. Dealerships seem to give me different answers, so I’m hoping for a little clarity from this group.

Is the 24-module battery standard on all 3X models, or is it something you have to add? And if you’ve made the choice between the SUV and SUT, what made you lean one way or the other?

It is something you have to add. And don't expect it to be too cheap.

The dealership info can get pretty confusing. Last I checked, the 24-module battery is standard on both the 3X SUV and SUT for 2025, but you might want to double-check the window sticker since some earlier models had different setups. If you’re not hauling a ton, the SUV feels like a better everyday fit for me.

So, the 2025 Hummer EV has two battery options. You've got the standard 20-module pack, and then there's a bigger 24-module pack you can get for more range.

With the standard battery, you're looking at around 311 miles in the EV2X and about 314 miles in the EV3X, at least according to the EPA.

But if you spring for the 24-module pack (it's a hefty 212 kWh!), you can cruise for up to 381 miles before needing a charge.
