Squeaky Swing Gate on My Hummer EV

Over the past few weeks, my dad's Hummer EV has been squeaking constantly from the back of the truck. 2024 Although we have looked for the source, thus far we have not had any success.

We even visited a dealership, but they were unable to solve it either. Though I'm not sure exactly, I am beginning to believe it could be the tire mount or perhaps something else on the swing gate.

Has anyone else handled this problem or have ideas on what to look at?

Could it be the roof panel?

That’s a tough one! It could be the tire mount, but also check the hinges or any components around the swing gate

When was the last time he used some grease on it?

That's frustrating! Especially with a newer vehicle like the Hummer EV! Squeaks are maddening to track down especially when you can't figure it out. Since the dealership couldn't pinpoint it, consider escalating to Hummer/GM customer service. Good luck!
