Split screen

Hey all, I just got my new SUV and I'm not a fan of the split screen on the infotainment. I’d love to make CarPlay full-screen, but I can’t find the option anywhere.

Anyone know if that’s possible?

You can't totally ditch the split screen, but you can switch it to Map view and go full screen with your apps, so it's not all bad!

That’s cool! I didn’t realize you could switch to Map view and go full screen, haha. Definitely makes it less annoying. Appreciate the tip!

Well, you're not alone. Many new cars, especially those with larger screens, default to a split-screen view, which can be frustrating if you prefer the full-screen. CarPlay experience. Unfortunately, whether or not you can switch to full-screen CarPlay depends entirely on the car manufacturer and the specific infotainment system. You can try to tinker with your setting and see if you find it anywhere.
