When I was looking into whether to remove the spare tire on my own vehicle, I realized it’s a bit trickier than expected due to the integrated camera. A simple plate wouldn’t do the job, especially since I still wanted the option to reinstall it for off-roading. For my daily city drives, I don’t really need the spare hanging on the back, but I didn’t want to lose the flexibility of adding it back when necessary. I’d love to find an aftermarket solution that’s both reversible and sleek, something that allows me to keep the functionality of the camera without sacrificing the ease of putting the spare back on for those rugged trips.

Evo-Auto.
They have a complete plug-and-play kit priced at somewhere around $800. Saw that in an email subject a few days ago. Try there.

Thanks for the tip, I'll definitely check out Evo-Auto and see if their kit meets my needs...
